A recent comment said “Seriously Joey…..there is never a report on the pool expenses.” My apologies, after a close look at the Aramark reports, in 2009 $76,212.84 was spent on the pools and $69,160.79 was budgeted for 2010. Interesting to note this year's pool expenses appear to have gone over budget by $21,163.49, closing out at a cost of $89,324.28 and I don’t remember a word said about it. Have you? Your Comment is?

My comment is: GET RID OF BERRY POOLS!!!!!
There ARE other LOCAL businesses who could and would service our pools. And probably for LESS. Don't tell them what we are paying now, though! Let's get some real bids, without any kickbacks and reduce our costs!!!
Well, why don't we hire Joey back to do the pools? If we're going to spend a tenth of a million dollars each year for pools, why not give it to Joey - at least we'll get our money's worth for a job well done!
I THINK TIS TIME FOR Mr. Chapa to tell all of us about Berry Pools. I vote for them to be put out with the other dirt.To much money so far for a bad job.LETS GET IT DONE.
It would appear that some owners have their sunglasses on backwards and cannot see the great job the Lady in charge of the pool maintenance is doing. If you are NOT using the pool(s) on a regular basis how can you comment? The few problems that have occured, in the past, when she was enjoying her greatly deserved days off, Monday-Tuesday, have apparently been brought under control and have not occured for some time. There is no bigger DRAG on the Blog than an uninformed one!
I am certainly pleased to hear that Berry Pools is FINALLY doing the job they were supposed to do. And, you are correct, I haven't heard any complaints of late. HOWEVER, it still doesn't mean that we are paying a fair price for the service we are getting. And why did it take so long to get them to do it right. I guess we can thank Rick Horner for that one. It is still time to BID IT OUT and see if we can get a better price for the service we need.

The board better talk to Mr. Chapa and put Berry Pools in the waste basket!!!!!
And that doesn't include water which is billed to the golf course!
My comment is...Almost a tenth of a million dollars for pool maintenance? Holy Crap!
Wasn't Berry Pools once of LD's "great" ideas
to save LIV money? Seem to remember that from a meeting long ago!
No one took care of the pools like Joey did.
