Quorum Satisfied !!!!

It took a one hour recess to get the nine final registrations to satisfy the quorum for our Annual Meeting.

was not eligible because that person, like the COOL gang group, had not registered. Poor Larry must wait another day.

Elected

President-Eddie Montalvo
Vice-President-Ed McBride
Asst. V.P.-Bill Gagan

Learning and teaching is one aspect of the board.. respect , keeping an open mind ,getting along are others!
We have people power.
It's happening all over the world.
We are tired of our almighty leaders.

We need and hopefully will have a board that will consider the investors needs to grow into a eco friendly environment. Be open, direct and informative. Also to be open to the investors. Also encourage those who have accomplish successes to contribute. Also the board needs to know they are not alone.
We all care about our future.

Congratulation to are new board members
and thanks to all who made it possible !

Thank you to everyone who helped reach our quorum--and to the election people for all their hard work. The COOL group that tried to steal the election need to let the majority rule and see what might happen. They just might realize these people aren't scary!

Word on the street is that Don Halbach was going to resign if no quorom was met on 3/12. Then our NO-nomination Nominee would have been appointed by the COOL members of the board and would have sat where he never will belong! That is scary! The Election committee did a marvelous job! THANK YOU!

Words to live by:
Make a clean break with all cutting, backbiting, and profane talk. Be gentle with one another, sensitive. Forgive one another...

re: Words to live by.

Thanks for reminding everyone. This village is a wonderful place to live until election time and then is becomes ugly.
Please let those elected do their job and if you don't like the job they do then run for the board the next election. Remember that old saying if you don't vote then hush.

Hey Joe think about changing your format on this BLOG
It reeks of the past..do like the sun picture coming out from behind the dark cloud. It is coming out from the the dark cloud "right!!"
It is a new day "right?"

About every ten years a virus sweeps through the resort, causing otherwise sane people to do nasty things to try to impose their will on the level-headed silent majority. They band together and call themselves something starting with CO. The virus seems to be impossible to eradicate. It will likely surface again.
Beware.

I just don't understand some people: they chose not to register for the annual election (as is their right) and to not participate in the election.
Now that we have had an election they complain about the results, or the process, or whatever.
It seems to me that when they chose not to participate before the election they also gave up the right to complain after the fact.

RE:I just dont understand

I understand what your saying..BUT you are also complaining.
Don't try to figure out the problem that has been solved.
We must keep on top of the new board and ask what their plans are for our future.
Believe me it will include all of us!

A lady in the gym told me the new board members are going to remove M S. Can they remove member without an election ?

I think someone is trying to cause trouble for the
new Board by spreading this ridiculous rumor.

If they wanted to get rid of MS they would have
nominated someone else to be Treasurer.

FYI: MS leaving: Word has it that she declined the BOD Presidents slot, citing husband on Bridge board and Pres. LIV BOD is automatically on the Bridge board and this WOULD be a conflict situation! Maybe this will put some ghosty rumors to bed. I still think LIVOA books need a real forensic audit, tho!
