Sources have said that Director Vasquez has resigned as Director and that Wednesday's November 18, 2015 Regular Meeting has been cancelled for reasons unknown.

Golfer's Group celebrating! sick if you ask me, when there is HUGE problems bigger that a persona non grata leaving...don't bring OLD directors back to BOD ...

Lot of people selling some at liquidation prices... the writing is in the wall!
went to the, umm, celebration only to find the usual crew sitting around enjoying the weather, conversation and the usual beer/wine. no BIG deal or BIG celebration of anything in particular, no grandiose hoopla of any sort. so we will continue with life as it is here in our beautiful surroundings and hope for better things to come, certainly can't be worse !!
I find it interesting how the golfers get blamed for everything. I'm not a golfer, but after moving here I was approached by several people telling me how terrible the golfers are and how they get "free" stuff. I decided to investigate on my own and boy was I surprised. Just a bunch of retired people paying for their purchases, and having fun. I was welcomed with open arms. How dare a group of people sit around and laugh and have fun!! The golf course adds to the value of my property. Stop vilifying the golfing community and spreading false rumors. Focus on the real problems in this park.
We want to Thank Joey for keep this blog going, basically the only place were we can gather serious and pertinent info.
Joey, is there a way to find out how each Director has voted on all and every issue at a BOD Executive meeting?
We just find out Aramark uses ORKIN for the welcome center so that begs the question: If ORKIN is good enough to spray the welcome center (At LIV cost) their plush offices... How come we have to use a guy that obviously is not doing the job... or doing it half ass?
Who is in charged of supervising contractors that takes LIV for a ride time after time? parking lot, activities Ctr roof, ball room roof, pest control...
Directors: what are exactly your duties? Controlling the newsletter and throwing little private parties at our cost? laughining it out? while the gold course and restaurant lose money every year (this year we are going to set a record...for LOSES that is) working on your own private agendas, businesses.... Re-appointing your friends over and over (same people have mismanaged the park for years and years) We are for what has already been proposed before: People doing business in the park should NOT be allowed to be Directors nor be in a committee - PERIOD- whether you're renting houses for friends (yeah right) or are a contractor of any kind... How can owners force an independent AUDIT? every penny every check accounted for? Whether is the hardware store or SAM's receipts...
And as far r as the meeting being cancelled because one (1) Director is ill is crazy! (Although we wish him a prompt recovery) that is B.S. with so many issues affecting the park...
One more thing: We hope people stop respecting the STOP Sings... STOP means STOP, full STOP, pedestrians have the right of way always here and in China.... sooner or later we are going to have an accident and guess who is going to be used? or a drunk golfer or certain ARMRK employee driving under the influence.. if its not legal in the street it shouldn't be legal at the park...this still the State of Texas last time I saw the map. Can the constable issue tickets?
