Tree Hugger, you seem to be the one who is Halfcocked. Your blog is full of innuendos which only add to the rumor mill.
You talk down to residents or owners who probably have or had to work for a living. If they were lucky or savvy enough to buy at the right price good for them.
Everyone pays condo fees, taxes and insurance as well as upkeep of their property regardless of their income.
If you feel your financial status is so important, maybe you should move to a more prestigious place.
You seem to place a lot of your own thoughts on rumor e.g.: The Jerks/Clowns that damaged our relationship with the Post Office – Couldn’t be the same Jerks/Clowns because the majority of complaints to the Post Office came from the Winter Texans who thought their mail should be delivered at a specific time.
The elimination of the Hospitality Manager Position by the Board of Directors was a good move. Management was top heavy and the Hospitality Manager position was an expensive waste of money for the results obtained. Times are tough for some and I believe the Board is trying to manage the LIV owners Association fees responsibility.
I suggest that you look in the mirror and see if you like yourself and if you do perhaps you need an attitude adjustment, a relocation or perhaps you will be part of the natural attrition you speak of. Have a nice day.
on June 23 anon complained about a shredder being considered and recommended it be placed next to Bill Gagan's place. I just read in the news letter it was Ed Mcbride's reccomendation to look into getting one. this is how people get things started with false rumors and innuendos
I heard that our Don Juan and thief of the Grill in gone. No longer will I have to endore his dipping in the fridge for a free soda and meal while we pay. Why did it take so long for him to go???
re: i heard Ya know I guess it is all in your perspective. In my opinion the MAN was doing an excellant job !! We had someone that knew what had to be done and did it, and put in a lot of extra hours to try to keep us happy, which is not an easy chore. Unfortunate he had to supplement his income with nite work on the island.
Beware of what you get for nothing, alas he made up for it and he's gone. Nothing is for nothing my cheap old friend. Close the grill for good it's bleeding us!!!!!
Re: Ya know... You're right it is all in a person's perspective. This man knew how to cook, but managing people, the grill, and doing what needed to be done was not his forte. In meetings never did he takes notes, then when events came, he had to be reminded of what he had agreed to do. Not good. So it's best that he is not with us. As for the BOD doing away with the position. I agree that a 'manager' is not needed, but can be a supervisor of the grill and a supervisor of housekeeping. Thank you.
