Simple talk about LNG

The majority of Villagers who bought lots in L.I.V. did so in order to prosper with rental property, relax enjoying their retirement, or to party with good friends 4-6 months during the winter. Soon they will have a new close neighbor with different interests.
This new neighbor has been intruding into areas all over our nation. This new neighbor has big pockets with supporters everywhere with big pockets. Our ever loving elected officials seem to bow to this new neighbor's grace. The soon to be neighbor is looked upon by his supporters as a King Midas, turning whatever area it touches into gold.
Will gold be bestow upon all who have property on Long Island or for that matter Port Isabel? It appears the answer is no. FEAR is what this neighbor brings and the neighbor’s name is LNG.
Alarm at how it will affect our property values.
Distress that it will increase our cost of living.
Consternation that eventual harm will come to our fishing, beach, and wildlife environment.
Agitation from the all night brilliance of its lights and factory noise.
Dismay at the possibility that the long term jobs lost might outnumber those that will be gained.
Fright that it will increase the terrorism potential in our area.
Panic that at any time of day or night we will be required to evacuate our homes from any gas spill.
Trepidation of never waking up from an undetected accidental release of an odorless, colorless gas.
Dread of an explosion because we will constantly be in their blast zone perimeter.
Question is would anyone want live like this. We as owners didn’t make the decision to move into the deadly spill, gas. or blast zones. LNG made the decision to put us in those zones with moving here.

Thank you for all the instructions, the only thing I needed to change while filling out the forms is the CP #. Needs to be CP16-116-000.

as we have become accustomed to Joe, you are up on things. Progress is a great thing, change is progress when directed correctly. The direction of this progress is DOWN straight to satans door! The jobs that will be long term created will be for people that the companies have already chosen. The short term employment for construction will only serve a few of our local GREAT people and give only SHORT term benefit. The plan is to build a pipeline from Chorpus to our beautiful island to bring this DEADLY! gas to our shores! We MUST do all we can to stop it ! Why not build the plants in Chorpus? save the expense of pipes!

Apparently our board is not concerned with the safety of owners in our community! They have opened our community to all! No restrictions! If u drive up to the gate and want in, you granted unrestricted access to our village.
