That OLD bridge is a death trap! Every person in LIV should write letters, make calls, what ever it takes to it fixed or replace! I am not the only one that feels like this.
A barge scraped the opening on the northeast corner and caused the bridge to close for about three hours. The letter is to send to Congressman Ortiz to protest the conclusion made by the Corp of Engineers saying that a realingnment of the intercoastal waterways around Long Island would not be worth the cost.
Boring has its bright side. It's been quiet due to not having to listen to the misleading crap from the two biggest trouble makers in our Park. PB quitting after being confronted and LD being forced to retire was such a relief.
P.S. If you're so bored, don't visit. I find this blog interesting.

Just got a letter from the Board pres about the bridge being hit and urging us to submit a form letter. What's going on?
